Job description
We are looking for an experienced Software Engineer to participate in technical meetings with clients and help us evaluate and scope new projects.
This role is ideal for an engineer who enjoys client interaction, technical discovery, and turning business needs into clear engineering requirements.

What You Will Do
- Join client calls and technical meetings
- Lead or support technical discovery sessions
- Understand clients' goals, constraints, and expectations
- Ask structured technical questions about:
- Architecture and system design
- APIs and third-party integrations
- Backend and frontend requirements
- Data, security, and infrastructure
- Identify risks, unknowns, dependencies, and assumptions early
- Produce clear technical notes and meeting summaries
- Help determine whether projects are feasible and sufficiently defined
- Occasionally participate in technical challenges or evaluations requested by clients
Requirements
- At least five years of professional software engineering experience preferred
- Confidence discussing system design and implementation approaches
- Experience with common technologies, including:
- JavaScript or TypeScript
- C#, Python, Java, Go, or similar languages
- APIs, databases, and cloud infrastructure
- Strong spoken English and clear communication skills
- Ability to translate client requirements into technical plans
- Based in the United States
- Must be legally eligible to meet the role's applicable work requirements
- Able to visit the office occasionally
- Must be female
Nice to Have
- Experience in consulting, software agencies, or client-facing engineering roles
- Familiarity with AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Platform
- Experience participating in technical interviews, assessments, or project estimations
- Experience mentoring engineers or facilitating technical discussions
