Job description
We are seeking a highly skilled Lead Software Development Engineer to lead the architecture, design, and development of scalable, high-performance software solutions. This is a hands-on technical leadership role where you'll work across the full stack, drive engineering best practices, mentor developers, and build distributed systems that power mission-critical applications.

- Develop modern front-end applications using React.js, JavaScript, and TypeScript.
- Design and build scalable backend services, REST APIs, and microservices using Python.
- Design, develop, and maintain high-throughput ETL and data processing pipelines.
- Optimize database performance, schema design, and query execution for PostgreSQL and analytical databases such as StarRocks or ClickHouse.
- Deploy and manage cloud-native applications using Kubernetes across Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and Microsoft Azure.
- Build scalable event-driven applications utilizing RabbitMQ, Kafka, or similar messaging technologies.
- Lead architecture discussions, perform code reviews, mentor engineers, and promote engineering best practices.
- Collaborate with Product, DevOps, and cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions.
Requirements
- 10+ years of professional software development experience.
- 2+ years of experience in a Technical Lead or Lead Software Engineer role.
- Strong expertise in:
- Python
- React.js
- JavaScript (ES6+) & TypeScript
- REST API & Microservices Architecture
- PostgreSQL
- Kubernetes
- Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
- Experience building scalable distributed systems and cloud-native applications.
- Hands-on experience with ETL pipelines and large-scale data processing.
- Experience with messaging technologies such as RabbitMQ, Kafka, or similar platforms.
- Strong understanding of software architecture, performance optimization, and system scalability.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and leadership skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with StarRocks or ClickHouse.
- Experience with GCP Cloud Storage or Azure Blob Storage.
- Knowledge of observability and monitoring tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, or OpenTelemetry.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
- Cloud or Kubernetes certifications are a plus.
Education
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Master's degree is a plus but not required.
