Job description
As our team continues to build and enhance cloud-native, digital, and enterprise applications, we are seeking an experienced Enterprise Solution Architect to lead the design and delivery of scalable, secure, and high-performing technology solutions. This role partners closely with business stakeholders, product teams, engineering, and cross-functional architecture groups to translate business needs into end-to-end technology solutions.
The ideal candidate is a hands-on Solution Architect with broad expertise across application architecture, integration, cloud, data, infrastructure, and security, capable of guiding technical teams while remaining actively engaged throughout the software delivery lifecycle., * Lead end-to-end solution architecture and technical design for enterprise initiatives, ensuring solutions are scalable, secure, resilient, and cost-effective.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders, product managers, and engineering teams to translate business requirements into technology solutions that enable business capabilities.
- Partner with Solution, Infrastructure, Data, Security, Quality Engineering, Production Support, and Shared Services teams to align architecture, delivery approach, and project estimates.
- Define solution architecture, application integration patterns, APIs, cloud architecture, and deployment strategies while leveraging existing enterprise platforms and services.
- Provide architectural leadership throughout the software development lifecycle, participating in Agile ceremonies, design reviews, and technical decision-making.
- Guide and mentor development teams on architecture best practices, design patterns, cloud-native development, and secure coding principles.
- Evaluate architectural options and provide high-level solution estimates, technical trade-offs, and implementation recommendations.
- Promote reusable, modular, and loosely coupled architectures using industry best practices.
- Design highly available, fault-tolerant, and disaster recovery solutions that meet enterprise standards.
- Ensure solutions adhere to enterprise architecture, security, governance, compliance, and performance standards.
- Stay current with emerging technologies and recommend tools, platforms, and frameworks that improve delivery and business outcomes.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 10+ years of overall IT experience.
- 5+ years of recent experience as a Solution Architect designing and delivering enterprise applications.
- Proven experience leading architecture across multiple technical domains, including:
- Application Architecture
- Cloud Architecture
- Integration Architecture

- Data
- Infrastructure
- Experience working directly with business stakeholders, senior leadership, and cross-functional engineering teams.
- Strong technical leadership with the ability to influence architecture decisions while remaining hands-on.
Technical Skills
Application Development
- Strong Java development experience (Spring Boot preferred)
- Modern web technologies including Angular and/or React
- RESTful APIs, SOAP, and enterprise integration
- Microservices architecture
- Event-driven architecture using Kafka, AWS SNS/SQS, Kinesis, or similar messaging platforms
- Serverless computing using AWS Lambda
- API Gateway technologies
- Design patterns including MVC, SOA, Domain-Driven Design, and Strangler Pattern
- Batch processing frameworks (Spring Batch or similar)
Cloud & DevOps
- Strong experience designing enterprise solutions on AWS (preferred), Azure, or Google Cloud
- AWS services including Lambda, API Gateway, EC2, ECS/EKS, S3, RDS, DynamoDB, IAM, CloudWatch, and related services
- Containerization using Docker and Kubernetes
- CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, Jenkins, or similar)
- Infrastructure as Code (Terraform preferred; CloudFormation acceptable)
Data & Integration
- SQL databases (Oracle, PostgreSQL, SQL Server)
- NoSQL databases (DynamoDB, MongoDB, Redis, or similar)
- Enterprise integration patterns
- Data architecture, replication, operational data stores, and data warehousing concepts
Security
- Secure application design principles
- Authentication and authorization (OAuth2, JWT, SAML, OpenID Connect)
- Identity management (Azure AD, SailPoint, ForgeRock, or similar)
- Secure coding practices aligned with OWASP
- Knowledge of security and compliance frameworks (NIST, ISO 27001, GDPR, CCPA) is a plus, * AWS Certified Solutions Architect (Associate or Professional)
- TOGAF certification
- Experience designing cloud-native enterprise applications in Agile environments.
- Experience working closely with Scrum teams while providing hands-on architectural leadership.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills with the ability to present architectural solutions to both technical and business audiences., * Do you have 5+ years of recent hands-on experience as an Enterprise Solution Architect designing end-to-end application solutions (not solely infrastructure or data architecture)?
- Do you have experience designing cloud-native enterprise applications on AWS, including services such as Lambda, API Gateway, ECS/EKS, S3, RDS, DynamoDB, SNS/SQS, or similar?
- Do you have hands-on experience designing Java/Spring Boot microservices and REST API-based enterprise applications?
- Have you led solution architecture across multiple domains, including application architecture, integration, cloud, security, data, and infrastructure?
- Do you have experience collaborating directly with business stakeholders, product managers, engineering teams, and cross-functional architects to define solution architecture?
- Do you have experience designing event-driven architectures using Kafka, AWS SNS/SQS, Kinesis, RabbitMQ, or similar messaging technologies?
- Do you have experience with Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD pipelines, and Infrastructure as Code (Terraform or CloudFormation)?
- Do you hold an AWS Certified Solutions Architect certification (Associate or Professional)?
