Job description
- Design, develop and support software for use in X-ray imaging and computed tomography
- Create technical design, implementation and training documentation that describes new software functionality.
- Use varied development tools including Visual Studio, GitHub, coding agents, issue and task tracking for implementation of software solutions.
- Communicate new developments and findings to internal/external customers in the form of presentations, technical reports and patent applications.
- Develop and support software interfaces to a variety of hardware devices: UIs, X-ray detectors, X-ray sources, optical cameras, motion components, robots.
- Support new and maintaining engineering and planning.
- Other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Software Engineering
- Proficient with C++, C# or Python
- Experience with Agile software development
- Experience with Machine Learning, tools like Claude/Cursor, PyTorch, TensorFlow
- Self-motivated and solid problem-solving abilities
- Team player - leverage existing code and teammates
- Flexible and adaptable to evolving specifications
- Customer-focused with a preference for practical solutions
- Preferred Skills:
GPU programming

Benefits & conditions
Compensation for this position ranges from $68,000 - $84,000 based on education and experience.
