Graduate Developer PHP full stack Software Developer

Over the last 10 years we have a proven track record of hiring and developing local developer. You will not be stuck on a rigid program fixing bugs but given the chance to learn about all parts of the development process. Coding, software design, deploying and server architecture. As you learn what you like and don't like you can grow into that area of the work. Adam our managing director is an ex-software developer and the whole business is developer led. The software is used by thousands of people a day and the experience of writing software that has to perform for that number of people is exciting. But we expect you to make mistakes and support you to develop your skills., The ideal applicant will have completed a relevant degree such as Computer Science or Software Engineering. Ideally you will have done a work placement as a PHP Developer, or have some kind of commercial experience, but this is not essential.

Most importantly we are looking for someone enthusiastic who loves to work in a varied and challenging environment.

Skills are important, but so is attitude. We are a small team so there may be times when you will need to talk to customers as well as liaise with other companies that we work and are integrated with.

Technical requirements : -

• PHP
• CSS
• SQL
• JavaScript

It'd be great if you have : -

• experience with Git or other VCS
• experience with Linux
• an understanding of RESTful APIs
• JavaScript Frameworks (Angular/Vue/Knockout)
• experience with an additional language (such as Go, Python or C#)
