Job description

The successful candidate will be play an important role in the upgrade and replacement of several of our core information systems by ensuring the data migrations from old to new systems are successful. This includes working with various stakeholders to understand requirements followed by the design, test and implementation of data migrations whilst also ensuring existing integrations and reporting from those systems continue to function and meet business needs. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with data and solving problems, enjoys being hands on working with data using tools like SQL or Excel and can develop positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

We're looking for a passionate and skilled individual to join us as a Data Systems Analyst in our ICT & Digital Transformation department. The ICT & Digital Transformation department provide enabling digital services that contribute to Karbon Homes mission., The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate:

  • A strong record of demonstrable achievement in delivering data services

  • Knowledge of data flows and system integrations across complex application landscapes

  • Understanding of data quality concepts and practices

  • Understanding of data protection and data governance practices

  • Excellent problem-solving skills applicable to working with data

  • Relevant data related qualification, or equivalent work experience

  • Experience of collaborating and working as part of an effective team

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Benefits & conditions

  • Salary is £39,163 per annum

  • Location: Predominantly office based at Gosforth or Stanley and attendance at other Karbon offices may be required. Working from home is available depending on business need.

  • 37 hours per week with agile working. Applicants must have the right to live and work in the UK at the point of application and for the duration of the contract at the point of application.
