Job description

  • Design, develop, and maintain scalable automated test frameworks and reusable test suites.
  • Build automation across functional, regression, integration, API, performance, and non-functional testing.
  • Integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines to provide rapid feedback and support continuous delivery.
  • Analyse test results, identify bottlenecks, troubleshoot failures, and collaborate with developers to resolve quality issues.
  • Evaluate, implement, and maintain automation tools, frameworks, and secure test data strategies.
  • Use AI-assisted testing tools to improve test design, execution, defect detection, and reporting while validating AI-generated outputs.
  • Advocate for quality-first engineering practices and continuously improve automation coverage, stability, and efficiency.
  • Document automation frameworks, processes, and best practices while sharing knowledge across the engineering community.
  • Collaborate closely with developers, QA engineers, and product stakeholders in an Agile team.
  • Champion automation, continuous testing, and engineering excellence while exploring AI-enabled testing capabilities.

Requirements

  • Strong experience with Agile software delivery and test automation.
  • Hands-on experience with automation tools such as Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, and Postman or equivalent.
  • Experience with Git, Azure DevOps, and CI/CD pipeline integration.
  • Knowledge of API, integration, regression, performance, and scalability testing.
  • Experience designing scalable automation frameworks and reusable test assets.
  • Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills with the ability to identify and resolve automation issues.
  • Excellent communication skills with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Working understanding of AI-assisted testing and the ability to review, refactor, and validate AI-generated tests.
  • Familiarity with responsible AI principles, including governance, security, privacy, and compliance.
  • United Kingdom work authorisation required.
  • Ability to work in person.
