Solution Designer

Responsible for end-to-end solution design and delivery to enhance quantum safety and related solutions (technology, process, policy, guardrails).

• Produce design documents aligning with functional/non-functional requirements, business strategies, and architectural standards.
• Create and publish high-level designs, new architecture patterns, key decisions, design deviations, and record technical risks/issues.
• Collaborate with technical SMEs to integrate quantum-safe practices into existing technologies and workflows.
• Maintain standard approaches and ensure alignment with reference architectures.
• Present and articulate solutions at design authorities and to senior leadership/stakeholders.
• Provide technical thought leadership, direction, and subject matter expertise for projects and related programs.
• Ensure all solution designs undergo proper architectural and project governance, peer reviews, and documentation standards.
• Manage and escalate technical and project risks, mapping design decisions to potential impacts and remediation steps.
• Promote efficient, timely, and cost-effective solution designs throughout project lifecycles.
• Demonstrate significant cybersecurity expertise, especially in cryptography, data security, IAM, and privileged access management.
• Utilize tools such as Jira (project/task management), Confluence (documentation), and visualization tools (BizzDesign, Archi, UML).

Hold relevant qualifications: Bachelor's/Master's in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or related, plus CISSP/CISM or similar certification.

• Foster teamwork and cross-functional collaboration as a cybersecurity SME with an emphasis on quantum safety.
