Junior Design Engineer

Design Engineer required for a well-established equipment manufacturer based near Leek, Staffordshire. The succesful candidate will be joining a well-respected company and will be responsible for utilising Solidworks to create 3D models and 2D manufacturing drawings., * Designing systems and products with the use of Solidworks 3D modelling software

• Preparing detailed specifications and technical drawings
• Researching suitable solutions and producing cost quotations
• Producing electrical harness drawings using 3D design software
• Creating Bill of Materials
• Ensuring projects meeting legal and safety requirements

• Either degree qualified within an Engineering related subject or equivelant experience within a Design Engineering role
• Proficient with the use of Solidworks
• Based in a commutable distance of Leek, Staffordshire
• Able to communicate appropriately with suppliers and customers
• IT literate with the use of Microsoft packages including Outlook, Word and Excel.

• Salary: £28,000 - £35,000 - Depending on experience
• Permanent position. Monday to Thursday 08:00 - 17:00. Friday 08:00 - 14:30.
• 32 days holiday, including bank holidays
