Senior Software Engineer

• Design and implement RESTful APIs to facilitate seamless communication between distributed systems and microservices architectures.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop system design specifications, ensuring solutions are robust, secure, and scalable for future growth.
• Optimize existing systems by applying design patterns, best practices in software engineering, and performance tuning techniques across cloud infrastructure platforms such as AWS.
• Implement continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines using tools like GitHub, SVN, and Jenkins to streamline software releases.
• Write clean, maintainable code adhering to version control standards with Git or SVN while conducting code reviews for quality assurance.
• Participate actively in Agile software development cycles including sprint planning, stand-ups, retrospectives, and backlog grooming to ensure timely delivery of features.

• Proven experience in software development with a strong background in programming languages such as JavaScript, Python, Java, C++, C, VBA or similar.
• Extensive knowledge of IT infrastructure components including Linux servers, cloud services (AWS), databases like MySQL and SQL Server, and RESTful API design principles.
• Hands-on experience designing scalable systems utilizing microservices architecture with tools like Docker or Kubernetes is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with front-end development frameworks such as React or AngularJS combined with back-end frameworks like Ruby on Rails or Express.js.
• Strong understanding of software design patterns, system security (RBAC), version control systems (Git), and CI/CD workflows to support rapid deployment cycles.
• Experience working within Agile environments employing Scrum or Kanban methodologies to deliver iterative improvements efficiently.
• Knowledge of quantum engineering concepts is a plus but not required; a passion for innovative technology solutions is encouraged.
