Job description

Our client is seeking a Technical Product Manager - HR ERP to lead the strategy, roadmap, and ongoing evolution of a large-scale enterprise HR platform. This individual will serve as the bridge between business stakeholders and technical teams, driving product direction, optimizing ERP capabilities, and ensuring secure, scalable solutions that support organizational objectives. The ideal candidate is a strategic product leader with strong ERP expertise, exceptional stakeholder management skills, and a passion for delivering impactful enterprise technology solutions., * Lead the long-term product vision, strategy, and roadmap for the organization's HR ERP platform, aligning technology initiatives with evolving business goals and operational priorities.

  • Own the full product lifecycle, including backlog management, software development lifecycle (SDLC) oversight, system enhancements, upgrades, patching, release planning, and ongoing platform optimization.
  • Partner with HR, Payroll, Finance, Operations, and IT stakeholders to translate business needs into technical requirements, user stories, acceptance criteria, and prioritized product initiatives.
  • Create, maintain, and prioritize a product backlog that balances new feature development, system stability, integrations, compliance requirements, and technical debt reduction.
  • Collaborate with infrastructure, cybersecurity, enterprise applications, and digital transformation teams to ensure ERP solutions are secure, scalable, reliable, and well-integrated.
  • Establish and facilitate product governance processes, including roadmap reviews, prioritization sessions, release planning, and cross-functional decision-making.
  • Coordinate with third-party vendors and implementation partners to ensure project deliverables, timelines, and product priorities remain aligned with organizational objectives.
  • Define, monitor, and report on key product performance metrics, including system availability, user adoption, transaction efficiency, product quality, and operational performance to support continuous improvement.
  • Partner with business leaders and change management teams to communicate system enhancements, support user adoption, and ensure smooth implementation of new capabilities.
  • Ensure enterprise applications comply with applicable security, privacy, financial, and regulatory requirements while supporting organizational governance standards.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Business Information Systems, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 5+ years of experience in technical product management, ERP product ownership, or enterprise application leadership.
  • Proven success leading complex ERP implementations, enhancements, integrations, and business process transformation initiatives within large organizations.
  • Strong understanding of HR, payroll, finance, and enterprise business processes, with the ability to translate operational needs into scalable technical solutions.
  • Experience managing product roadmaps, Agile delivery, backlog prioritization, user stories, acceptance criteria, and stakeholder engagement throughout the product lifecycle.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of enterprise application architecture, systems integrations, software development lifecycle (SDLC), and modern product management best practices.
  • Excellent communication, facilitation, and relationship-building skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across technical teams, business leaders, and executive stakeholders.
  • Experience establishing and tracking product KPIs to measure platform health, adoption, operational performance, and business value.
  • Strong understanding of enterprise security, data privacy, governance, and regulatory compliance requirements.
  • Preferred: Experience supporting large-scale enterprise ERP environments within complex, highly regulated organizations. Agile or Product Management certifications such as Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO), Professional Scrum Product Owner (PSPO), or Certified Product Manager (CPM) are a plus.
