Job description
- Develop and maintain Java-based enterprise applications.
- Collaborate closely with Development and QA teams to improve application quality and testability.
- Design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks using Selenium and Java.
- Create and execute automation scripts for complex business rules and rules engines.
- Develop and test RESTful APIs and web services using JSON and XML.
- Integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines.
- Perform database validation and write SQL queries for testing and troubleshooting.
- Support enterprise applications with high availability and complex system integrations.
- Participate in Agile software development and testing activities.
- Troubleshoot application issues using analytical and debugging skills.
- Contribute to continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) initiatives.
Requirements
This position combines responsibilities across Java Development and Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET). Candidates must possess hands-on experience in both software development and test automation. Previous Java Developer or SDET candidates will only be considered if they meet the combined requirements outlined below., * Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, or Engineering.
- 5 to 8 years of combined experience in Java software development and SDET roles within Java-based enterprise applications.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively with both Development and QA teams.
- Minimum 1 year of experience supporting large-scale enterprise applications with high availability and complex integrations.
- Healthcare, Medicaid, or Health Exchange industry experience.
