Job description

We are looking for a Desktop Analyst to join our team in one of today's most exciting technologies. This role will report to Service Desk Manager and based in BMCD - Newark, Delaware. This is a fully on-site, in office role working Weekend Shift hours (Friday - Sunday, 6AM-6PM)

Role and Responsibilities:

  • Provide support services to local and remote employees with technical problems and IT issues involving Windows workstations, software, hardware.
  • Install, configure and troubleshoot hardware including laptops, workstations, printers, and mobile devices.
  • Respond promptly to escalation for technical assistance via phone, email and in person as needed.
  • Provide timely resolution of problems and escalation management on behalf of customer to appropriate internal support team.
  • Document ticket status and provide updates to employee-customer and management in line with client case management guidelines.
  • Provide input and help to maintain standard operating procedures, best practices and customer service guidelines relating to client services desktop support.
  • Participate in IT projects and complete some project deliverables.
  • This position may be required to provide technical support outside of normal business operating hours

Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in desktop support in a high performing professional environment is required.
  • Demonstrates a great customer service focus along with strong technical problem-solving abilities.
  • Communicates appropriately across multiple levels of the internal organization.
  • Prioritizes tickets / projects and operations tasks effectively to complete deliverables on time.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Has supported iOS / Android mobile devices
  • Expert knowledge of Active Directory administration
  • Experiencing imaging laptops using PXE boot
  • Must be comfortable supporting Azure IDMS
  • Basic DNS and DCHP knowledge and troubleshooting
  • Work with 2FA using multiple authenticators
  • MCSE, ACITP (Apple Certification) or other IT support certifications a plus
  • Knowledge of JIRA service desk and MobileIron a plus
