Job description

We are looking for an experienced Test Lead with a strong background in the Pharmaceutical/Life Sciences industry to lead end-to-end testing initiatives for enterprise applications. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience with Tricentis Tosca, test automation, and test management, along with expertise in Agile delivery and CI/CD practices., * Lead the design and development of end-to-end (E2E) test suites covering critical business process flows.

  • Partner with business and IT stakeholders to define testing scope, strategy, test plans, and acceptance criteria.
  • Design, develop, execute, and maintain manual and automated test cases to validate application functionality, integrations, and end-to-end business processes.
  • Manage all phases of the testing lifecycle, including test planning, execution, defect tracking, reporting, and sign-off.
  • Support testing within Agile and CI/CD environments using tools such as Jira, qTest, GitHub, and DevOps pipelines.
  • Utilize the Tricentis toolset, including Tosca, qTest, and Vera, to improve test automation, test coverage, and overall quality.
  • Identify, document, track, and validate defects through resolution while maintaining complete test evidence and traceability.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely delivery of high-quality software releases.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of experience in Software Quality Assurance and Testing.
  • Strong experience leading testing activities for enterprise applications.
  • Hands-on experience with Tricentis Tosca for test automation.
  • Tosca Certification (AS1/AS2 or equivalent) is highly preferred/mandatory.
  • Experience with qTest and Vera.
  • Strong understanding of test planning, test design, regression testing, integration testing, and UAT support.
  • Experience working in Agile/Scrum and CI/CD environments.
  • Proficiency with Jira, GitHub, and DevOps tools.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.

Mandatory Requirements

  • Pharmaceutical or Life Sciences industry experience.
  • Hands-on Tricentis Tosca experience.
  • Local to Chicago, IL or willing to work Day 1 onsite.
