Job description

Provide technical leadership for enterprise information technology including enterprise application/database projects involving complex high-end, mission critical, role-based computer programs requiring high degree of security. Plan and oversee the SDLC process, and support specific IT area or system. Coordinate technical aspects of work for the successful completion of a project and/or production. Prepare and utilize project plans for significant IT development, enhancement and maintenance efforts. Analyze and debug Application/Client Server Connectivity problems. Install and configure databases and work on backup and recovery, partitioning, indexing strategy and DBA support. Performance tuning, database sizing and monitor databases. Communicate regularly with internal and external customers. Manages cloud-based software projects and teams engaged in design, development, testing, implementation and maintenance of proprietary software products for insurance and pension benefits administration using Java, J2EE, GWT, REACT, JavaScript, Spring Microservices, Spring Boot, REST API, AWS, Postgres,Oracle, PL/SQL, and other technologies. Analyze and resolve complex technical issues including IT infrastructure development, design changes, components and performance. Act as liaison between technical and business aspects. Monitor progress including timelines, deliverables, standards, cost and productivity. Design, develop, test, implement and maintain software applications using Oracle, SQL Server, DB2, Java, Struts, Spring, AWS, Rest, SOAP, technical solutions, and JSP. Other similar duties as assigned.

Experience to include: designing and developing applications; and working with Oracle, SQL Server, DB2, Java, Struts, Spring, AWS, Rest, SOAP, technical solutions, and JSP.

Relocation and travel to various unanticipated locations possible.

DEGREE REQUIREMENTS

Require Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field of study with 2 years' experience (any job related) OR Associates degree Computer Science, Engineering or related field of study with 4 years' experience (any job related).
