Job description
As a Support Engineer supporting clients, you will be the go-to resource for Level 1/2 issues, maintaining and optimizing enterprise-grade infrastructures. Working primarily with Cisco/Meraki, VMware, Microsoft environments, and security appliances, you will troubleshoot, configure, and support diverse network and server architectures. This role also involves responding to first-tier tickets, gaining valuable experience in a variety of technical scenarios, and collaborating with internal teams and client contacts to ensure exceptional service delivery. - Serve as Tier 1/2 support for technical issues within the support team
- Troubleshoot end user issues, network and server problems, identify root causes, and execute corrective measures
- Monitor network health, perform preventative maintenance, and optimize system performance
- Escalate unresolved issues promptly to higher support tiers or vendors
- Participate in an on-call rotation to ensure 24/7 support availability

Requirements
- 3-7 years of experience supporting client networks and server environments (preferably in external consulting)
- Proven skills in configuring and troubleshooting Cisco, Meraki, Fortinet, Dell, and HPE hardware
- Strong understanding of cloud services, particularly Microsoft 365, Azure, and related security features
- Hands-on experience with firewalls, VPNs, VLANs, DNS, TCP/IP, and routing protocols
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to prioritize tasks effectively and work independently or within a team
- Willingness to travel locally and occasionally long distances as needed
