Job description
Our client seeks a technologist to design, build, and maintain scalable cloud-native applications for Fidelity Medicare Services. The role requires collaboration with technical leads, product, DevOps, and stakeholders to resolve roadblocks and deliver distributed solutions. You will contribute to UI strategy with reusable components and RESTful services, define documentation and maintenance standards, and mentor junior engineers., * Design, develop, and maintain scalable, distributed, and resilient cloud-native applications using microservices.
- Build and optimize event-driven architectures with technologies such as Kafka, RabbitMQ, or cloud-native messaging.
- Develop REST APIs using Java Spring Boot with strong API design and testing practices.
- Collaborate with squads, product, and technology leadership to remove roadblocks and drive delivery.
- Establish documentation standards, upgrade and maintenance strategies, and reusable UI components and services.
- Apply DevOps tools and processes for automation including Git, Jenkins, Maven, Docker, Sonar, and Artifactory.
- Contribute to front-end initiatives using Angular and related tooling where required.
- Mentor junior team members and promote engineering best practices.
Requirements
Due to client requirements, applicants must be willing and able to work on a w2 basis. - Proficiency in building REST APIs with Spring Boot and using tools such as Postman and Jenkins.
- Experience with microservices, cloud-native patterns, and event-driven architectures.
- Hands-on experience with DevOps tooling including Git, Jenkins, Maven, Docker, Sonar, and Artifactory.
- Database skills including data modeling, SQL query proficiency, and table design.
- Experience working in Agile or SCRUM environments and interacting with stakeholders and squads.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to articulate problem statements and solutions to varied audiences.
- Exposure to Angular; experience with CMS, SEO, Adobe Target A/B testing, Analytics, LaunchDarkly, jQuery, JUnit, JMeter, Veracode, and Concourse is a plus.
Education Requirements:
Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
