This is an excellent opportunity to work alongside experienced sales leaders, gain hands-on exposure to IT products and services sales, and develop the skills needed to succeed in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment. You will play a key role in supporting business development initiatives, generating new opportunities, and building strong client relationships while learning from seasoned professionals.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead Generation & Prospecting
- Identify and research potential customers and target accounts.
- Build, manage, and maintain a target account list.
- Conduct outbound prospecting through email campaigns, phone calls, LinkedIn, and other social media channels.
- Qualify leads and identify potential business opportunities.
- Appointment Setting
- Schedule meetings and discovery calls with prospective clients.
- Follow up consistently with prospects to secure discussions, product demonstrations, and business meetings.
- Coordinate meetings between prospects and senior sales leaders.
- Sales Pipeline Management
- Track leads and opportunities through various stages of the sales funnel.
- Maintain accurate CRM records, sales reports, and activity tracking.
- Assist in pipeline reviews, forecasting, and opportunity management.
- Proposal & Sales Support
- Collaborate with pre-sales, solution, and delivery teams to support sales pursuits.
- Assist in preparing client presentations, proposals, RFP responses, and commercial documents.
- Support the development of sales materials and customer-facing collateral.5. Market Intelligence
- Research industry trends, competitors, and target customer organizations.
- Gather market insights to support business development strategies.
- Identify emerging opportunities and provide competitive intelligence to the sales team.
Requirements
- Should have full-time MBA is highly preferred for this role.
- Experience between 0 - 3 years.
- Prior exposure to or basic knowledge of IT products, IT services, software solutions, or technology sales/business development.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and relationship-building abilities.
- Self-motivated, proactive, and eager to learn in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with CRM tools is a plus.
- Ability to work collaboratively under the guidance and mentorship of senior sales professionals.
Work Location & Travel
- Hybrid work model with opportunities to work closely with senior leadership and sales teams.
- Primary work locations: Houston, TX and Skokie, IL.
- Candidates should be comfortable working from the office as required for training, collaboration, and client engagement.
- Willingness to travel within the United States as required to support client meetings, business development activities, conferences, and industry events.

Pay: $70,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year, * 401(k) matching
