Our client, a leading Pacific Northwest utility provider committed to public service and environmental preservation, is looking for a Information Security Program Analyst for their Portland, Oregon location. This position will support enterprise initiatives by coordinating projects, conducting program audits, and assisting with the development and implementation of an organization-wide Information Security Awareness Program. This role partners with cross-functional stakeholders to ensure security objectives are met while supporting compliance efforts and continuous process improvement. The ideal candidate is proactive, detail-oriented, an excellent communicator, and thrives in a collaborative, fast-paced environment with evolving priorities., * Lead project coordination and change management efforts supporting Information Security initiatives.
- Recommend and implement process improvements to enhance security operations and program effectiveness.
- Develop project plans, communication strategies, stakeholder engagement, and training plans to support successful implementation.
- Create security awareness materials, including presentations, job aids, flyers, and other communication resources.
- Provide guidance on information security policies, procedures, and best practices.
- Develop and maintain reporting, dashboards, and tracking tools using SharePoint and other Microsoft 365 applications.
- Monitor project progress, milestones, risks, and performance metrics; prepare status reports for leadership.
- Conduct process reviews, audits, and compliance assessments, documenting findings and recommending corrective actions.
- Maintain thorough documentation to support security, governance, and compliance requirements.
- Coordinate security incident response activities and follow up on action items with cross-functional stakeholders.
- Analyze and improve business processes using process modeling and continuous improvement methodologies.
- Develop, deliver, and evaluate information security training programs, including training materials and train-the-trainer sessions.
- Provide input on security governance, technical reviews, and project compliance requirements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and aligned with organizational security objectives.
Requirements
- BA degree in Business, Management, Computer Science, or related field preferred.
- Required experience: 8+ years with BA | 10+ years with an AA | 12+ years without a degree
- 3+ years in security compliance, auditing, or performance measurement.
- Experience supporting Information, Operational, Physical, Personnel, or Industrial Security programs.
- Strong project coordination, change management, and process improvement experience.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Project, SharePoint, and PowerPoint.
- Proven ability to manage project timelines, deliverables, and stakeholder communications., * BA degree in Business, Management, Computer Science, or related field preferred.
