Job description

Oversee the health and performance of network and telecommunications systems across multiple locations, addressing issues before they disrupt operations.

Investigate and resolve advanced connectivity and infrastructure problems, working with external service providers and hardware vendors when repairs or replacements are needed.

Administer Meraki MX appliances, including secure site-to-site connectivity, to maintain dependable communication between locations.

Provide Tier 3 technical support for complex IT, systems, and telephony incidents while meeting established service expectations.

Install, configure, patch, and upgrade server, network, and end-user hardware and software as part of ongoing infrastructure support.

Manage user access and permissions across core systems to help protect company resources and enforce authorized usage.

Monitor backup processes and recovery readiness to support data protection and business continuity objectives.

Maintain accurate support records, technical documentation, and ticket updates within the help desk platform.

Identify opportunities to improve infrastructure security, resilience, and operational efficiency, and recommend practical enhancements.
Requirements
-
Support administration of internal platforms and services, including licensing oversight and changes related to core infrastructure environments. Requirements * 3+ years of experience in systems administration or infrastructure support roles.

Hands-on experience administering Windows Server environments, Active Directory, and Group Policy.

Working knowledge of Microsoft 365, Azure AD, and Azure AD Connect, including user and license administration.

Experience with PowerShell scripting to automate routine administrative and support tasks.

Background supporting Hyper-V, clustered environments, and server infrastructure in production settings.

Familiarity with Cisco and Meraki networking technologies, including routers, switches, firewalls, VLANs, and TCP/IP troubleshooting.

Understanding of backup, disaster recovery, DNS, DHCP, SAN storage, multifactor authentication, and secure access controls.
