Cloud Plattform Engineer | all genders

1. Design and operate scalable Azure cloud architectures for our product landscape
2. Manage and evolve our Kubernetes environments (AKS), including cluster management, networking, and storage
3. Build and maintain backup and disaster recovery services
4. Ensure scalability, stability, and security standards across all cloud environments

Automation & IaC

1. Infrastructure-as-Code with Pulumi, Terraform, and Bicep
2. Automate deployments and operational tasks via scripting (PowerShell, Bash, Python)
3. GitOps workflows with ArgoCD for Kubernetes deployments
4. CI/CD integration with Azure DevOps pipelines

Cloud-native data services

1. Operate and optimize databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL) in cloud-native environments
2. Manage message brokers (Azure Service Bus, RabbitMQ, or similar)
3. Design cloud networking: VPCs/VNets, routing, firewalls, private endpoints, VPN

Monitoring & observability

1. Build and run monitoring, logging, and observability solutions (Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, Application Insights)
2. Create dashboards and alerting concepts for production and staging

1. Several years of experience in cloud engineering, preferably on Azure (AKS, Service Bus, Azure Monitor, App Services)
2. Experience with containerization (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes, AKS) - from image design to cluster administration
3. Hands-on experience with Infrastructure-as-Code (Pulumi, Terraform, Bicep) and GitOps (ArgoCD)
4. Cloud networking know-how: VPCs/VNets, routing, firewalls, private endpoints, VPN
5. Experience with cloud-native data services: PostgreSQL, MySQL, message brokers
6. Familiarity with AWS or GCP as an additional cloud provider is a plus
7. Scripting skills (PowerShell, Bash, and/or Python) for automating operational tasks
8. Analytical and solution-oriented thinking - you find a way, even when things get tricky
9. Structured, self-driven approach with a genuine hands-on mentality
10. Fluent in English and German at B2 level or above

*The minimum gross salary for this position is € 3104 per month (full-time, 38.5h/week). The actual salary depends on your qualifications and experience.
