Senior Java Software Developer

• Develop modern software solutions and web applications for the digitalization of justice and public administration
• Support the entire software lifecycle - from conception and development to testing, deployment, and operations
• Contribute your expertise to architectural decisions, code reviews, and technical quality standards
• Continuously improve existing applications and identify opportunities for optimization
• Work closely with Product Owners, business stakeholders, and domain experts to translate functional requirements into technical solutions
• Support the adoption of modern technologies and best practices within development projects

• At least five years of professional experience as a Java Software Developer or in a comparable role
• Successfully completed degree in Computer Science, Business Informatics, or a comparable qualification
• Strong expertise in Java-based backend technologies such as Spring, Hibernate, Oracle, and REST
• Good knowledge of modern web technologies, single-page applications, and web services
• Proven experience in the design, development, and maintenance of complex software solutions
• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, or Oracle Cloud
• Experience with container technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes
• Knowledge of IT security topics, including certificates, encryption, PKI, and electronic signatures
• Experience in the public sector is considered an advantage
• Structured and quality-oriented approach to work combined with strong analytical thinking skills
