Senior Fullstack Software Engineer (Kotlin/Java/React) - Fintech

We are on the lookout for a Senior Fullstack Software Engineer (Kotlin/Java/React) to join our Fintech team and build worldwide innovative Wallet, Payment, and Anti-Fraud solutions with us. Work and scale our internal Payments engine that would handle payments for the entire Delivery Hero. Be part of building the financial backbone of Delivery Hero. You'll develop products that empower millions of customers and merchants, from seamless payments to innovative financial solutions like wallets and credit.

• Design, build, and deliver highly scalable software systems operating in complex, global business environments, used across more than 70 countries
• Lead backend and frontend engineering efforts with a strong focus on distributed systems, leveraging Java, Kotlin, modern frameworks such as Spring / Spring Boot, Hibernate, and JUnit and frontend technologies such as React / TanStack.
• Own services end-to-end by embracing a true "you build it, you run it" mindset, with deep involvement in infrastructure automation and continuous deployment.
• Drive high-quality software design by systematically applying design patterns, SOLID principles, and Domain-Driven Design (DDD).
• Build secure, resilient systems by applying secure coding best practices throughout the development lifecycle.
• Influence engineering culture through hands-on leadership, technical mentorship, and continuous improvement., Ensuring you and all our Heroes are looked after, happy, and healthy is always on the menu. Because if you're in good shape, then we're in good shape.

• Proven experience designing and delivering software systems in highly complex business domains at global scale.
• Deep backend engineering expertise with a strong preference for distributed systems.
• Hands-on mastery of Java, Kotlin, Spring / Spring Boot, Hibernate, and JUnit.
• Strong hands-on experience with TypeScript and React and PostgreSQL.
