AnalystRole OverviewThe SAP Business Analyst for Controlling and Product Costing is the functional expert for SAP S/4HANA in this domain.The role drives standardization, adoption, and continuous improvement.It ensures alignment with the global template while supporting the Key User network across regions.Key ResponsibilitiesFunctional Expertise and Solution DesignAct as the subject matter expert in SAP Controlling and Product Costing:Product costing (standard costing, cost roll-ups, variance analysis)Cost center and profit center accountingInternal orders and profitability analysis (COPA)Translates business requirements into SAP solutions aligned with the global templateChallenge requirements to ensure simplicity, scalability, and standardizationContinuous Improvement and Demand ManagementDrive improvement initiatives based on business feedback and KPI insightsManage demand, change requests, and enhancements within the Controlling domainPrioritize initiatives based on business value and alignment with global standardsIdentify inefficiencies and inconsistencies across regionsGlobal Template GovernanceEnsure strict adherence to the global SAP template and fit-to-standard principlesAssess and challenge localization requestsPromote consistent processes and ways of working across regionsKey User SupportSupport and guide Key Users with functional expertise and training inputStrengthen the Key User community and promote knowledge sharingDrive consistent system adoption across regionsIncident Management and TestingSupport analysis and resolution of Minimum 5 years of SAP Controlling experience with strong Product Costing focus Proven experience with SAP S/4HANA and global template environments Strong understanding of cost accounting and profitability analysis Experience working with Key User or super user communities Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to challenge and influence Fluent in English, Business Acumen Strong understanding of financial processes, Record-to-Report and cost management Technical Expertise Advanced knowledge of SAP S/4HANA FI-CO, with a strong focus on CO, esp.
