Job description

On the other side, each Data Analyst is a named data partner for an area/journey; You become the owner and expert of your player journey: a driver of the journey, not just a do-er. Your work is anchored to the journey rather than ad-hoc requests, giving you real depth, real continuity and a genuine seat alongside the Head Of, PM, Data Engineers and Data Scientists of your Area. You anticipate what's coming before it's asked for, spot the friction and opportunities that aren't on the roadmap yet., * Proactively detecting emerging trends, value opportunities, or organizational "blind spots" that have not yet been formalized.

  • Analyzing complex, ambiguous issues to objectify debates with facts and accelerate high-impact decision-making.
  • Seek to understand the actual friction behind every player's behavior and its root causes - going beyond simply delivering a report.
  • Conducting targeted explorations and Proof of Concepts (including AI) to test hypotheses and qualify the potential of new approaches before industrialization.
  • Designing visual, convincing deliverables (insight notes, Power BI dashboards, analytical frameworks) that are directly exploitable by decision-makers.
  • Collaborating with Head Of, PM, Data Engineers & Data Scientists of your Area; build that relationship and own that communication

Requirements

  • Typically, 6+ years of experience in data analysis, business intelligence or a related analytical role, with demonstrated ownership of analytical products and the ability to lead analytical directions while remaining hands-on
  • Advanced SQL skills and experience building maintainable, production-grade queries, semantic models and data products
  • Strong data visualization tool expertise, including semantic model design, DAX, dataflows, and report governance (e.g. PowerBI, Tableau, etc.)
  • Solid data modelling practices, including star schema, documentation, data quality standards with a focus on reproducible and scalable work
  • Working knowledge of cloud data platforms
  • Python proficiency for analytical work beyond SQL: statistical analysis, cohort modelling, data wrangling, exploratory automation and lightweight prototyping
  • Experience analyzing player or customer behavioral data - funnels, retention, journey mapping, segmentation
  • Professional proficiency in English
  • A degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Computer Science or a related quantitative discipline, or equivalent practical experience
