Job description
We are seeking an experienced IT Systems Administrator to support and demonstrate excellence to our Merrimack production workforce. As a System Administrator SR, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our IT systems., * Daily management of the ServiceNow dashboard
- Providing clear communication during and after troubleshooting incident tickets
- Ensuring quick resolution times for incidents and requests through the facility
- Collaborating with other BAE IT groups to ensure IT assets meet security compliance standards
- Serving as an escalation point for other System Administrators
- Leading projects, initiatives, or audits from an IT perspective to ensure a positive outcome for the stakeholders that is on time and on budget. This will include involving other required IT teams, vendors, etc.
- Creating, deploying, and maintaining server infrastructure
- Creating and maintaining documentation
- Demonstrate a leadership mentality while being ready and able to fill in temporarily for a people-leader if the need arises
- Become a Subject Matter Expert (SME) in an area that may be required by your manager to fill out an area of weakness in the team.
- Demonstrate ability to work with stakeholders, especially engineering and vendors, to ensure all test stands and production equipment is working as expected, delivering excellent IT service.
Work Schedule:
- Full-time onsite position
- Weekly on-call rotation with other System Administrators
Requirements
- Typically High School Diploma with 8 years experience or equivalent experience
- CompTIA Security Certification
- Leadership capabilities, * Bachelor s Degree with 4 years of experience or equivalent experience
- Microsoft Active Directory
- Server Virtualization and Management
- Backup Infrastructure Management
- Networking Fundamentals (VLANs, Protocols, IPv4 Configurations)
- Experience with a wide range of Windows OSs (Windows 98 to Windows 11)
- Windows PowerShell Scripting experience
Benefits & conditions
Full-Time Salary Range: $97008 - $164914

However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
