Job description
The Microsoft Dynamics 365 Implementation Lead will oversee the deployment and adoption of Dynamics 365 Customer Engagement and Business Central as the company's core business applications. This individual will work closely with business leaders across sales, operations, service, inventory, and accounting to translate requirements into scalable system solutions, workflows, integrations, and reporting capabilities. They will manage implementation activities including configuration, data migration, testing, user training, and go-live planning while coordinating with Microsoft partners and technical resources. The role is responsible for ensuring Dynamics 365 CE serves as the operational system of record while Business Central remains the financial system of record, creating a seamless end-to-end process from customer acquisition through invoicing and financial reporting. This will be hybrid onsite/remote.
Requirements
5+ years of experience implementing Microsoft Dynamics 365, Business Central, Customer Engagement (CE), Dataverse, or similar ERP/CRM platforms Experience leading full lifecycle ERP/CRM implementations from requirements gathering through go-live Strong knowledge of CRM, ERP, accounting, inventory, project management, service, and order management processes Experience translating business requirements into system configurations, workflows, integrations, and reporting solutions Hands-on experience with Dynamics 365 CE, Business Central, Dataverse, Power Platform, and system integrations Experience leading data migration, testing (UAT), training, and user adoption initiatives Ability to work cross-functionally with Operations, Finance, Accounting, Sales, Service, and Executive stakeholders Strong project management skills including sprint planning, backlog management, and implementation coordination Excellent communication, documentation, and stakeholder management skills

Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central Functional Consultant certification Power BI dashboard development and reporting experience Experience with Power Automate, APIs, and Microsoft integrations Experience within construction, mechanical services, field service, equipment sales, or project-based organizations Experience managing third-party implementation partners, consultants, and development teams Working knowledge of job costing, inventory valuation, AR/AP, purchasing, and financial operations
