Job description
- Design, develop, test, and deploy Power BI dashboards, reports, and semantic models.
- Gather and analyze business requirements and translate them into analytics solutions.
- Integrate Power BI with BigQuery, Databricks, Oracle, or a combination of these data sources.
- Develop scalable data models, KPIs, calculations, and measures using DAX and Power Query.
- Optimize report performance, dataset refreshes, and query execution.
- Leverage AI tools for development, SQL, DAX, documentation, testing, and debugging.
- Collaborate with stakeholders, data engineers, architects, and project teams.
- Support UAT, deployment, production releases, and post-production support.
- Ensure adherence to enterprise BI standards, security, governance, and best practices.
- Review and validate AI-generated outputs for quality and compliance.
Requirements
- 6+ years of BI/Analytics experience with at least 4+ years in Power BI development.
- Strong hands-on experience with Power BI Desktop, Power BI Service, DAX, Power Query (M), Semantic Models, RLS, Workspace Administration, Deployment Pipelines, and Data Gateway Management.
- Advanced SQL development and query optimization skills.
- Experience with Google Cloud BigQuery, Databricks, and/or Oracle Database.
- Strong understanding of data warehousing concepts and BI best practices.
- Hands-on experience with AI-assisted development tools such as Claude, Codex, GitHub Copilot, or similar solutions.
- Ability to create effective prompts and validate AI-generated outputs.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum delivery environments., * Python or PowerShell scripting for automation.
- Power BI REST APIs.
- CI/CD and DevOps practices for Power BI deployments.
- Experience with metadata management, data lineage, and governance tools.
- Experience in large-scale enterprise reporting and analytics environments.
- Microsoft Power BI Certification.
