Job description

Description We are looking for a Desktop Support Analyst to provide hands-on technical support for end users in North Charleston, South Carolina. This contract opportunity is ideal for someone who enjoys resolving hardware, software, and connectivity issues while delivering dependable onsite assistance. The role involves supporting desktop environments, maintaining core system access, and helping ensure stable day-to-day IT operations.

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver onsite technical assistance for desktop and workstation issues, ensuring employees receive timely and effective support.

  • Diagnose and resolve hardware, operating system, and peripheral problems across Windows 10 environments.

  • Configure, image, and deploy desktop and laptop systems for new and existing users.

  • Support user account access and directory services administration within Active Directory.

  • Troubleshoot Bluetooth device connectivity and other common end-user technology issues.

  • Perform routine system administration tasks to maintain reliable workstation performance and user functionality.

  • Assist with network-related problem solving, including basic connectivity and access support for end users.

  • Conduct technical orientation for users by guiding them through equipment setup, standard tools, and support processes. Requirements

  • Experience supporting PC desktop and workstation environments in an onsite IT support capacity.

Requirements

  • Working knowledge of Active Directory for user account support and access management.

  • Hands-on ability to troubleshoot desktop hardware, peripherals, and Windows 11 operating systems.

  • Experience with desktop imaging, device setup, and deployment processes.

  • Understanding of system administration principles related to end-user computing support.

  • Familiarity with network administration concepts and basic connectivity troubleshooting.

  • A+ certification is preferred.

  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to communicate technical guidance clearly to users.
