Job description

A large company is looking for a Security Operations Domain Administrator to manage and optimize its global Active Directory and Microsoft 365 Entra environments. This individual will be responsible for maintaining the stability, security, and scalability of enterprise directory services while supporting a large-scale hybrid infrastructure.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of experience as a Systems Engineer managing Active Directory infrastructure in a medium-to-large enterprise environment
  • Deep expertise with Active Directory Domain Services in hybrid on-premises and Microsoft Entra (Azure AD) environments
  • Strong PowerShell scripting and automation experience
  • Experience administering Microsoft 365 and Azure tenants, including user, group, and license management
  • Expertise with Identity and Access Management (IAM), including MFA, Conditional Access, and Privileged Identity Management (PIM)
  • Strong knowledge of DNS, DHCP, PKI, certificate management, Group Policy, and Windows Server administration
  • Experience troubleshooting complex authentication, synchronization, and domain-related issues
  • Experience working within an ITSM platform such as ServiceNow
  • Ability to participate in an on-call rotation and respond to security or operational incidents
  • Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field
  • CISSP, Microsoft Expert-level certification, or equivalent industry certification
  • Experience with Active Directory restructuring and modernization projects
  • Experience with disaster recovery and business continuity planning
  • Experience mentoring junior team members and providing Tier 3 support
  • Experience leading security-focused infrastructure projects
