Job description

We are looking for a highly experienced Python Developer with 12+ years of software development experience. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in Python, API development, cloud technologies, microservices architecture, databases, and CI/CD practices. The candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, optimizing, and maintaining scalable enterprise applications while collaborating with cross-functional teams., * Design, develop, and maintain scalable Python applications.

  • Build secure, high-performance REST APIs and backend services.
  • Develop microservices-based applications using modern Python frameworks.
  • Integrate applications with cloud platforms and third-party services.
  • Optimize application performance and troubleshoot production issues.
  • Write clean, maintainable, and reusable code following best practices.
  • Participate in code reviews and mentor junior developers.
  • Collaborate with product owners, architects, QA teams, and DevOps engineers.
  • Implement automated testing and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Ensure application security, scalability, reliability, and performance.
  • Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives.

Requirements

  • 12+ years of software development experience.
  • Strong proficiency in Python.
  • Experience with Django, Flask, or FastAPI.
  • Expertise in developing and consuming RESTful APIs.
  • Strong understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) and design patterns.
  • Experience with Microservices Architecture.
  • Hands-on experience with AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform (Google Cloud Platform).
  • Strong knowledge of SQL databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, or SQL Server.
  • Experience with NoSQL databases like MongoDB, DynamoDB, or Redis.
  • Hands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Knowledge of Git, GitHub, or Bitbucket.
  • Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or Azure DevOps.
  • Familiarity with Linux/Unix environments.
  • Experience working in Agile/Scrum development teams.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience with Apache Kafka, RabbitMQ, or other messaging platforms.
  • Knowledge of AI/ML frameworks or Generative AI is a plus.
  • Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform or CloudFormation).
  • Exposure to data processing frameworks such as Pandas, NumPy, or PySpark.
  • Knowledge of security best practices for cloud-native applications., * Experience with FastAPI
