Job description

This position is within Digital Solutions, Enterprise Collaboration, AI & Web Services to support intranet tools and applications that empower staff to effectively and securely succeed in support of the Laboratory''s mission. This includes technology modernization and process streamlining within the group''s portfolio., * Design, develop, and maintain enterprise API integrations.

  • Provide guidance on enterprise integration patterns (REST/HTTP, database integrations, ServiceNow, SAP, etc.).
  • Build and maintain scalable web applications using Java, Python, and front-end frameworks like React, Vue, Falcon, and Bootstrap.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams in an Agile environment using Atlassian toolset (JIRA, Confluence).
  • Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices in a secure and dynamic environment.

Requirements

  • Bachelor''s Degree in Computer Science or a related field., * 5+ years of enterprise application development.
  • Hands-on experience developing integrations with Boomi platform or similar (ETL, API gateway, process automation).
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills across a diverse technology stack.
  • Excellent communication abilities and teamwork mindset.

Soft Skills

  • Strong team communication
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team, * Experience with data ETL or Microsoft Graph API.
  • Experience with Generative AI, MCP, and agentic AI to improve automation, workflows, and system interoperability.
  • Experience developing WebSphere Portal applications (JSR286, portlets, themes, PUMA API).
