Requirements

  • Deep expertise with Cohesity DataProtect, Data Cloud, Helios, SmartFiles, and cluster administration.
  • Enterprise backup and recovery architecture experience, including designing backup policies, retention schedules, recovery workflows, and cyber recovery strategies.
  • Disaster Recovery (DR) and Business Continuity planning, including recovery runbooks, recovery validation testing, and restoration of critical services.
  • Strong VMware administration knowledge, including vCenter integration, ESXi environments, VM backups, restores, snapshot management, and protection groups.
  • Ability to develop and maintain backup/recovery documentation, operational procedures, recovery runbooks, and customer-facing technical artifacts.
  • Experience integrating Cohesity with enterprise infrastructure including Active Directory, DNS, NTP, networking, authentication services, and security platforms.
  • REST API, automation, and scripting experience to integrate Cohesity with ServiceNow, Morpheus, orchestration platforms, and reporting tools.
  • Networking knowledge including TCP/IP, routing, DNS, firewall rules, and connectivity troubleshooting required for backup and recovery operations. Security and compliance experience supporting RBAC, audit logging, PKI authentication, FIPS requirements, STIG/SRG compliance, and federal security controls. Cloud backup and data protection experience across a hybrid cloud, and object storage repositories.
  • Federal/DoD environment experience, including ATO, RMF, DISA requirements, security documentation, and operational support in classified or regulated environments.
  • Excellent customer communication skills with the ability to lead technical discussions, gather requirements, deliver training, document solutions, and coordinate recovery efforts across engineering teams., * Managing enterprise storage (Dell, NetApp, Pure, HPE): 5 years (Required)
