Software Support Engineer

• Act as a point of contact for customers with questions, requests, or troubleshooting problems related to HIMSA-created software and hardware.
• Answer customer questions and provide help with technical issues, keeping customers up to date on open issues and following up on past issues.
• Provide second-level support for our desktop applications.
• Participate in software release testing.
• Create learning materials for external technical support engineers.

• Sharp problem-solving skills and deductive reasoning.
• Motivated to take responsibility, initiative to be informed, learn new knowledge, and learn from past issues and mistakes.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• BA/BS degree, * Familiarity with cloud-based software and services.
• Previous experience in a support center or customer service organization.
• Experience with CRM tools or ticketing systems (like Jira or Zendesk)., * Bachelor's (Required)

Experience:

• Windows: 1 year (Preferred)
• Help desk: 2 years (Required)
