Job description

  • Lead a team of Java developers and provide technical leadership.
  • Participate in solution architecture and design discussions.
  • Conduct code reviews and enforce development best practices.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders, QA, DevOps, and cross-functional teams.
  • Mentor junior developers and drive technical excellence.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience in Java development.
  • Strong expertise in Java 8/11/17, Spring Boot, and Microservices.
  • Hands-on experience developing RESTful APIs.
  • Strong knowledge of Spring Framework (Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring Data JPA, Spring Security).
  • Experience with Kafka or RabbitMQ.
  • Experience with Oracle, PostgreSQL, and/or MongoDB.
  • Hands-on experience with Docker, Kubernetes, Jenkins, Git, and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Strong understanding of distributed systems, design patterns, and performance tuning.
  • Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.

Domain Experience

  • Mandatory: Banking or Financial Services domain experience.
  • Experience with retail banking, commercial banking, payments, lending, or capital markets is highly preferred., * Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to work onsite/hybrid in Pittsburgh, PA.
  • Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.
