Job description

They are seeking a Staff iOS Software Engineer to play a key role in the evolution of a widely used mobile application. This individual will provide technical leadership, contribute hands-on to development efforts, and work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality features that impact millions of users.
What You'll Do
- Design, develop, test, and maintain features for a large-scale native iOS application
- Write clean, efficient, and maintainable Swift code while troubleshooting and resolving complex technical issues
- Conduct code reviews and help maintain high standards for code quality, performance, and reliability
- Partner with product managers, designers, and engineers to deliver new functionality and improve existing features
- Analyze application performance, investigate crashes, and implement improvements to stability and user experience
- Develop and maintain automated unit and integration tests
- Mentor fellow engineers, share technical knowledge, and contribute to engineering best practices
- Evaluate user behavior and experiment with new ideas to improve engagement and product usability
- Collaborate effectively with a distributed engineering team across multiple time zones
Requirements
- Extensive experience building and delivering native iOS applications used in production environments
- Expert-level proficiency with Swift, including strong experience with SwiftUI and UIKit
- Solid understanding of modern web technologies such as HTTP, HTML, and JavaScript
- Experience working within large, complex codebases and the ability to quickly understand existing architecture
- Strong background writing and maintaining automated testing frameworks, including unit and integration tests
- Passion for producing high-quality software and continuously improving engineering practices
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across technical and non-technical teams
- Experience mentoring engineers or providing technical leadership is highly preferred
- Comfortable working remotely in a collaborative, fast-paced engineering environment.
