Data Engineer: Designing, building, and evolving the next generation of a data platform with an accent on end-to-end data lifecycle management, scalability, and integration. Focus on developing modern cloud-based data architecture, implementing real-time data services, and integrating AI-enabled workflows into production pipelines.Location:Must be based in or able to work from Barcelona, SpainCompanyA global provider of digital transformation and business automation solutions focusing on secure and sustainable connections through digital and physical channels.ResponsibilitiesDesign, implement, and maintain event-based and batch data pipelines using modern orchestration tools.Develop and manage rETL transformation workflows to integrate data with external systems like CRM and CDP.Own and evolve the end-to-end data architecture, covering ingestion, transformation, and storage.Design scalable data models while ensuring data quality, governance, and performance.Build internal APIs and data products for real-time and programmatic data access.Integrate machine learning models into production data workflows.QualificationsProven experience as a Data Engineer managing data pipelines and architecture.Strong proficiency in Python and SQL.Hands-on experience with modern cloud data platforms such as BigQuery, Snowflake, or Databricks.Experience with orchestration tools like Dagster, Airflow, or Prefect.Fluent in English.Ability to work effectively in cross-functional, international teams.Nice to haveUnderstanding of event-driven architectures (e.g., Kafka, Pub/Sub).Culture & BenefitsOpportunities for professional growth and career development in a diverse, international environment.Exposure to modern cloud-based data architecture and AI technologies.Collaborative environment involving product, engineering, and business teams.#J-*****-Ljbffr
Requirements
Proven experience as a Data Engineer managing data pipelines and architecture. Strong proficiency in Python and SQL. Hands-on experience with modern cloud data platforms such as BigQuery, Snowflake, or Databricks. Experience with orchestration tools like Dagster, Airflow, or Prefect. Fluent in English. Ability to work effectively in cross-functional, international teams.
