At DXC Spain we are looking for an SDN Network Engineer to join our team and work in an international project for an important Client.We develop active policies of diversity and inclusion of people with disabilities, and we are proud to have a representation of approximately 49% of female professionals.Requirements Education System Engineering or other relevant IT degree.Proven hands?on network engineering experience.Deep knowledge of Cisco underlay switches.Deep understanding of networking protocols (e.G., Leaf & Spine Topology, IPSEC, HSRP, BGP, OSPF, *, QoS, VXLAN, EVPN).Solid understanding of the OSI or TCP/IP model.Experience with SDN Products (e.G., Nuage, NSX, CISCO ACI).Hands?on experience with monitoring, network diagnostic and network analytics tools.Monitoring Tools (Netscout, CA Spectum, VMware VRNI, Arista Cloud Vision Portal).Capability of working under critical situations in a productive environment.Nice to have Public Cloud experience, preferably in AWS, MS Azure.Solid scripting skills (e.G., Shell scripts, Python, Power Shell).Cloud architectures (vCloud, Azure/AWS).Automation (AVD, Ansible).Experience in Agile Methodology (Kanban, SCRUM).Experience in Agile Tools (JIRA, Confluence).Tasks Install, configure, test and maintain the network infrastructure, switches, routers, also SDN elements like VMware NSX and different network management tools.Proactively ensure the highest levels of network and infrastructure availability.Monitor and test application performance for potential bottlenecks, identify possible solutions, and work with Support & Engineering Teams to implement those fixes.Write and maintain custom scripts to increase system efficiency and lower the human intervention time on any tasks.Participate in the design of information and operational support systems.Provide 2nd and 3rd level support.Liaise with vendors and other IT personnel for problem resolution.Work within established configuration and change management policies to ensure awareness, approval and success of changes made to the network infrastructure.Benefits At DXC, you'll join an employer of choice with strong values and a people?first culture built on inclusion, belonging and learning.You'll find real opportunities for professional development through meaningful work on leading projects for market reference clients, using leading technologies across the IT sector.We support flexibility and work?life balance, foster an excellent work environment, and invest in continuous learning through DXC University with unlimited certifications.We act with integrity and a strong sense of corporate citizenship, building an inclusive culture with community impact.It's also a place to build for the long term, with stable employment and a competitive package of social benefits-so brilliant people can advance their careers while helping our customers succeed.#J--Ljbffr
