Manage and support a team of product engineers focused on building and expanding Figma's developer offerings, including Dev Mode, MCP, Code Connect, and more

Partner closely with cross-functional stakeholders to coordinate work across product, design, engineering, and other functions

Define strategy & roadmap for your team and execute on that roadmap with a high degree of autonomy, velocity, and craftsmanship

Provide hands-on technical leadership to your teams and others that collaborate with your teams to ensure a cohesive product experience and the right technical abstractions

Recruit, mentor, and retain high performing engineers (and help with other cross functional roles). You'll foster a culture of innovation, collaboration and taking calculated risks

Requirements
-
2+ years of experience managing software engineers working on products used by external users

A proven track record of building AI-powered products (both as a manager and individual contributor) that are best in class in user experience

Demonstrated ability to tie product and engineering work to clear business impact

Demonstrated leadership skills in building a high-performing and highly engaged engineering team; including mentoring, and growing senior engineers

Strong ability to build and operate fast-moving teams that balance innovation with execution

Genuine curiosity and enthusiasm for emerging AI technologies and their application to user-facing products While not required, it's an added plus if you also have:

Experience building large scale systems using React, C++, and/or Ruby

Experience building & maintaining open source software and/or libraries for developers
