Job description
The Software Engineer performs moderately complex application design, systems analysis, and programming activities for enterprise-level web applications. This role conducts research and analysis to design, implement, and maintain multi-module product subsystems, using a combination of Java (Spring Framework) and Angular. Depending on project needs, this individual may act as a specialized technical contributor or step into a project lead capacity to address complex technical challenges across the software development lifecycle., * Software Design & Engineering: Perform product design, coding, unit testing, and integration testing for enterprise web applications, ensuring high performance, quality, and scalability.
- Maintenance & Troubleshooting: Research, diagnose, and resolve technical issues, bugs, and performance bottlenecks; conduct release testing and support for production systems.
- Product & Market Alignment: Analyze technical and business requirements, including performance benchmarks and architectural standards, to suggest innovative technical approaches to leadership.
- Technical & Project Leadership: When serving as project lead, coordinate development tasks, estimate effort, manage concurrent priorities, and support contingency planning to mitigate risk.
- Mentorship & Collaboration: Provide technical guidance, code reviews, and instruction to junior developers while driving best practices within the engineering team.
- Client & Stakeholder Interaction: Participate in technical demonstrations, architectural reviews, and presentations with internal and external stakeholders.
- Continuous Improvement: Research new technologies, frameworks, and development tooling to keep the team and product line aligned with industry standards.
Requirements
- Core Languages & Frameworks: Strong expertise in Java and the Spring Framework, paired with front-end experience using modern Angular, TypeScript, HTML5, and CSS.
- Architecture & Design: Deep understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) concepts, design patterns, and enterprise application architecture.
- Data Interchange & Databases: Solid experience with JSON and XML for data transfer and binding. Practical experience writing SQL queries and working with PostgreSQL databases is a plus.
- UI Libraries: Hands-on experience with UI component libraries (e.g., PrimeNG) is preferred.
- Build & Automation Tools: Working experience with Maven and CI/CD pipelines (such as Jenkins) is preferred.
- Development Methodology: Proven ability to manage multiple tasks and thrive in a fast-paced, quality-driven Agile/Scrum environment.
