Job description
- Provide operation support for the SAP ecosystem across multiple environments including ECC, CRM, BW, and SAP Cloud Platform Integration (CPI).
- Lead primary SAP BASIS administration for major enterprise applications, ensuring system stability and performance.
- Troubleshoot and resolve system issues, acting as the primary point of contact for technical support.
- Schedule and coordinate SAP system installs, upgrades, patches, backups, and restorations.
- Participate in disaster recovery planning, testing, and documentation to ensure business continuity.
Requirements
Our client, a leading organization in the utility sector, is seeking a SAP Basis Specialist to join their team. As a SAP Basis Specialist, you will be part of the IT department supporting enterprise SAP solutions. The ideal candidate will demonstrate problem-solving skills, adaptability, and strong communication abilities, which will align successfully in the organization., * Five (5) years of progressively responsible IT experience in administration of SAP BASIS, with a setup similar to SMUD.
- Strong understanding and hands-on experience in SAP enterprise solutions, including installation, configuration, patching, troubleshooting, and documentation.
- In-depth knowledge of SAP system design, configuration, and functionality across various platforms.
- Hands-on experience with AIX, UNIX, Linux, Windows, DB2, and MS SQL SAP ECC6, S/4 HANA, BW/BI, CRM, BOBJ, PO, BPC, HANA, C/4 HANA, SAP BTP, SuccessFactors, and related tools.
- Experience with Solution Manager and SAP Cloud ALM for monitoring and project management.
