Job description
We are seeking an experienced Senior Systems Administrator to provide operational support for enterprise infrastructure in a 24x7 mission-critical environment. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining the availability, security, and resiliency of core infrastructure, supporting infrastructure modernization initiatives, and strengthening cybersecurity operations. This role involves administration of Windows Server environments, virtualization platforms, storage systems, identity services, endpoint management, backup and disaster recovery solutions, and enterprise security technologies. The selected candidate will also play a key role in vulnerability remediation, incident response, disaster recovery readiness, and implementation of infrastructure security best practices., * Administer and support enterprise Windows Server infrastructure (Windows Server 2019/2022).
- Manage Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, DHCP, and enterprise identity services.
- Maintain VMware vSphere/ESXi virtualization environments and virtual infrastructure.
- Support Cisco UCS compute infrastructure and NetApp storage systems.
- Manage endpoint deployment and administration using SCCM/MECM.
- Develop and maintain PowerShell and PowerCLI automation scripts.
- Administer enterprise backup, recovery, and disaster recovery solutions.
- Perform vulnerability remediation, security patching, and endpoint protection management.
- Support enterprise encryption, MFA, PKI, LDAP, and authentication services.
- Configure and maintain Microsoft clustering and high-availability environments.
- Monitor infrastructure performance, troubleshoot issues, and perform root cause analysis.
- Support VDI environments and enterprise virtualization technologies.
- Collaborate with networking teams on TCP/IP, VLANs, routing, switching, and firewall-related activities.
- Maintain technical documentation, system diagrams, and change management records.
- Participate in infrastructure modernization and lifecycle management initiatives.
- Support cybersecurity compliance efforts and implement infrastructure security best practices.
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of experience administering VMware vSphere/ESXi environments.
- Minimum 5 years of Windows Server (2019/2022) administration.
- Minimum 5 years of experience with Microsoft Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, and DHCP.
- Minimum 5 years of Cisco UCS compute infrastructure administration.
- Minimum 5 years of NetApp storage administration.
- Minimum 5 years of SCCM/MECM and enterprise endpoint management.
- Minimum 5 years of PowerShell and PowerCLI scripting/automation.
- Minimum 5 years of enterprise backup and disaster recovery administration.
- Minimum 5 years of vulnerability management and security patching.
- Minimum 5 years of endpoint protection and enterprise encryption.
- Minimum 5 years of Microsoft clustering and high-availability technologies.
- Minimum 5 years of identity and authentication services (MFA, PKI, LDAP).
- Minimum 5 years supporting enterprise virtualization and VDI environments.
- Minimum 5 years of infrastructure monitoring and performance tuning.
- Minimum 5 years of incident response and root cause analysis.
- Strong understanding of enterprise networking fundamentals including TCP/IP, VLANs, routing, switching, and firewalls.
- Experience with technical documentation and structured change management processes.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience supporting highly available, 24x7 enterprise environments.
- Experience with infrastructure modernization and lifecycle management projects.
- Strong knowledge of cybersecurity best practices, vulnerability remediation, and infrastructure hardening.
- Excellent troubleshooting, communication, and documentation skills.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating with cross-functional infrastructure and security teams.
