Job description
As an Application Specialist in the Customer Competence Center, you are part of a strong team that works holistically on exciting and challenging projects for one of our largest customers. Together with over 40 dedicated colleagues, you develop tailor-made IT solutions - from standard to custom software - and ensure smooth operation and continuous development. Thanks to our unique combination of internal expertise and strong external partnerships, you will work with us to create innovative, sustainable and customer-focused IT solutions that offer real added value.
- Design, implementation and development of Linux-based applications and data models in Oracle environments
- Development and optimization of software solutions based on Oracle SQL, PL/SQL
- Preparation of technical solution concepts
- Close cooperation with internal development teams, external partners and our customer's specialist areas
- Automate and optimize the performance of existing processes and systems
- 3rd level support for complex customer inquiries and faults, including fault analysis and sustainable solution finding
- Participation in innovative projects within the T-Systems family - from idea to implementation
Requirements
- Completed technical education (HTL, FH, university) in the field of computer science or comparable
- At least 5 years of professional experience in software development
- Profound Oracle knowledge (DB design, development with Oracle SQL and Oracle PL/SQL)
- Knowledge of Git/ GitLab and working with the Linux shell is an advantage
- Knowledge of C++ is an advantage
- Experience in creating solution concepts is an advantage
- Analytical thinking, quality awareness and team spirit
- Strong communication skills and strong customer orientation
- Very good written and spoken German and English skills

For legal reasons, we provide information about the minimum annual salary of €55300.00 gross for full-time employment (38.5 hours).
