Job description

Your customers aren't asking for cloud offerings anymore - they're asking about you personally. As a senior cloud consultant for sovereign cloud and regulated industries at T-Systems Austria, you are a trusted advisor for decision makers in public administration, critical infrastructure, defense and finance. You bring what no pure hyperscaler partner can offer: data sovereignty as a business model and the expertise to translate regulatory reality into feasible cloud strategies. Tasks

  • Strategic account responsibility for customers from regulated industries - you are the primary relationship with the decision-making body
  • Support sovereign cloud transformations end-to-end: from regulatory situation analysis to signed project contract
  • Design and deliver executive briefings and board-level presentations on cloud strategy, data sovereignty, and regulatory compliance
  • Bid leadership for strategic tenders (RFP/RFI): Responsible for offering strategy and differentiation
  • Mentor junior consultants as a team and actively promote their professional development

Requirements

  • 5-10 years of experience in IT consulting, cloud advisory or technical account management in regulated industries
  • Demonstrated experience managing customer relationships at C-level or board level
  • Profound understanding of at least one hyperscaler platform (AWS, Azure, GCP) and sovereign cloud alternatives
  • Practical experience with regulatory requirements in regulated sectors, such as public administration or financial services
  • German C1 and English C1 - you present independently at board level in both languages

Beneficial

  • Knowledge of NIS2, DORA or BSI C5 and their impact on cloud architectures
  • Experience with sovereign cloud products (Open Telekom Cloud, Sovereign Cloud Stack, Gaia-X)
  • Existing customer relationships in Austrian or German authorities or state-related companies
  • Experience in commercial account management: structured account planning (e.g. MEDDIC), TCO/ROI argumentation as well as contract and SLA drafting in regulated tenders

Benefits & conditions

  • You gain trust with security officers, data protection officers and board members - at the same time and with the right message
  • You bring deals to the finish line that others would have given up as too complex
  • You do not see regulatory complexity as an obstacle, but as your unique selling point

We offer you

  • Strategic account responsibility with real P&L influence - not just a delivery role
  • Structured development path: Senior Consultant * Principal Consultant * Managing Consultant/Partner
  • Certification budget for sovereign cloud, advanced cloud, and regulatory specializations
  • Hybrid working model: Vienna office, customer appointments and home office can be flexibly combined
  • International network within the Deutsche Telekom Group

For legal reasons, we refer to the minimum annual salary of €64,554 for full-time employment (38.5 hours) under the collective agreement. The final salary is of course based on your individual experience. We also offer you a wide range of various benefits, such as flexible working hours, food allowance, sports activities and various employee events. Ready to grow? If you would like to get started with us, we look forward to receiving your application - preferably directly online! Your contact: Arijana Sibonjic fmb_at_recruiting@t-systems.com
