Job description

As a Scrum Master, you will support a Web Development Team in delivering high-quality digital solutions within an Agile environment. Acting as a servant leader, you will coach development teams, facilitate Scrum ceremonies, remove impediments, and foster a culture of collaboration, transparency, and continuous improvement.

You will work closely with Product Owners, developers, architects, project managers, and business stakeholders to ensure the successful delivery of strategic web applications while promoting Agile maturity across the organization.

Your Responsibilities

As a Scrum Master, you will:

  • Coach and support Agile software development teams in the effective adoption of Scrum principles and Agile best practices.
  • Facilitate all Scrum ceremonies, including Sprint Planning, Daily Scrums, Sprint Reviews, Sprint Retrospectives, and Backlog Refinement sessions.
  • Act as a servant leader, empowering teams to become autonomous, collaborative, and high-performing.
  • Remove impediments and proactively manage risks impacting delivery.
  • Promote continuous improvement through Agile coaching, retrospectives, and process optimization.
  • Collaborate closely with Product Owners and stakeholders to maximize business value and delivery efficiency.
  • Facilitate communication and collaboration between development teams, business stakeholders, and external partners.
  • Coordinate activities across geographically distributed and offshore teams.
  • Monitor Agile KPIs and ensure transparency through regular reporting and follow-up.
  • Support software delivery throughout the entire Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC).
  • Foster a culture of quality, ownership, and continuous learning.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum 10 years of experience as a Scrum Master within Agile software development teams.
  • During the last 2 years, Scrum Master has been your primary and sole responsibility.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience working with Sitecore CMS development teams.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience within the railway transportation sector.
  • Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience with Jira and Confluence.
  • Proven experience coaching Agile teams and facilitating Scrum ceremonies.
  • Strong experience working in cross-functional and multi-stakeholder environments.
  • Experience collaborating with distributed and offshore development teams.
  • Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and facilitation skills.
  • Ability to work onsite 2 days per week (Monday mandatory).

Nice to Have

  • Experience working on enterprise web platforms.
  • Knowledge of Agile scaling frameworks such as SAFe.
  • Experience in large-scale digital transformation programs.
  • Experience working in regulated or complex enterprise environments.
  • Scrum certifications such as PSM, CSM, or equivalent Agile certifications.
