Job description

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Data Administrator based in Spain. As a Data Administrator, you will play a vital role in maintaining the accuracy, security, and integrity of large-scale databases while supporting the continuous improvement of data management processes. Working closely with cross-functional teams, you'll help ensure reliable data collection, storage, and accessibility across the organization. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented professional who enjoys solving data challenges, optimizing workflows, and contributing to scalable information systems in a collaborative and innovative setting. Accountabilities

  • Maintain, validate, and enhance the accuracy, consistency, and integrity of large-scale databases and data repositories.
  • Manage data backups, security measures, and database maintenance to ensure reliable and secure information management.
  • Support the development and implementation of data governance standards, procedures, and best practices.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to collect, validate, and organize new data while ensuring proper storage and accessibility.
  • Monitor data entry processes for quality, compliance, and adherence to internal controls.
  • Investigate, troubleshoot, and resolve data quality issues efficiently to minimize operational disruptions.
  • Partner with technical teams to improve database performance, optimize data management processes, and support ongoing system enhancements.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience as a Data Administrator, Database Administrator, or in a similar data management role.
  • Strong understanding of database structures, data administration principles, and data mining techniques.
  • Experience managing data collection, validation, analysis, storage, and distribution processes.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and Access, along with database management systems.
  • Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively across cross-functional teams.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or another relevant technical discipline.
