Design Engineer

• Aids in refinement process of the initial prototype, incorporation into production, and customer acceptance\n
• Manages Beta process for ground up designs or Preproduction process\n
• Conducts all final testing with thorough documentation in drawings, manuals, and kit instructions\n
• Manages full project documentation (Schedule/Logs/Test Data/Requirements/Statement of Work/Project Approval SS/ ETC) for each project\n
• Designs CAD equipment based on project pillar requirements supplied by management and PDC for cfm required - (recovery), water pressure (psi) water volume (gpm)\n
• Assists in final production implementation\n
• Responds to Vendor and Customer interactions, as needed\n
• Creates Engineering Change Orders.\n\nProvides Testing / Data Acquisition\n
• Completes Proto Fabrication and Design.\n\nAssembles prototypes and test samples\n
• Performs other related duties as assigned

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or design required \n

• Experience working with manufacturing and machines preferred \n

• Must have proficiency computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite, D365 (or equivalent MRP)\n

• Must have proficiency in SolidWorks\n

• Strong aptitude for creating detailed blueprints and instructions\n

• Must be able to multitask, prioritize, and manage time efficiently\n

• Accurate and precise attention to detail\n

• Must have exceptional verbal and written communication skills and interact with customers via phone and in-person\n

• Must be able to read, write, and speak English language and be understood\n

• Must have good mechanical aptitude\n

• Must be driven and goal oriented and willing to take on new challenges and see them through, is intended for individuals with a minimum of 5 years related work experience.\n\n Requires working knowledge and competent demonstration of the following: \n \n

• Must have in-depth knowledge of engineering and design principles\n

• Must understand CAD drawings, bill of materials (MRP), SolidWorks, and PDM Vault\n

• Organize plans and create schedules using MS Project\n

• Estimate and establish cost parameters and budgets for design
