  • Manage centralized logging and monitor for security and system events
  • Improve system monitoring while ensuring compliance with security standards
  • Apply configuration management best practices (patching, hardening, documentation)
  • Enforce security and reliability best practices, including access controls and vulnerability testing
  • Partner with A&A and security teams to maintain authorization and compliance requirements
  • Participate in operational readiness reviews and present system readiness updates
  • Support Agile (SAFe/Scrum) development teams and ceremonies
  • Provide on-call support as required

Requirements

  • Hands-on experience with container platforms such as Kubernetes, Docker, or OpenShift
  • Strong understanding of DevOps principles and software development lifecycles
  • Experience with CI/CD tools such as GitLab or similar platforms
  • Knowledge of microservices architectures and best practices
  • Proficiency in Python, Bash, and Shell scripting
  • Solid understanding of networking fundamentals (load balancers, firewalls, infrastructure design)
  • Experience deploying and supporting on-prem infrastructure
  • Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, and communication skills
  • Ability to manage priorities, work independently, and thrive in a fast-paced environment

Nice to Have

  • Experience deploying applications to Kubernetes environments using GitLab and Helm
  • Familiarity with access management and security services (IAM, S3, SSH, VPN, security groups)
  • Experience writing and using unit and functional tests
  • Experience with Jira and Confluence
  • Prior work in secured or mission-critical environments
