Job description

We are seeking a motivated and technically skilled professional to join Cisco Capital operations as an Internal Salesforce Administrator. This opportunity involves managing and extending the use of Salesforce (SFDC) to support business operations, while driving process improvements and automations. This role goes beyond traditional administration to actively design and document business procedures, drive team adoption through collaboration, and champion the integration of AI-powered tools and automation into daily Salesforce workflows.

Your Impact

In this role, you will drive projects to extend Salesforce capabilities and adoption within Cisco Capital. You will act as a key partner in implementing process automations to improve operational efficiency and play a vital role in managing the health and security of our internal Salesforce environment. This is an exciting opportunity to influence how we leverage AI-powered tools-such as Salesforce Einstein and Agentforce-to transform our daily workflows.

Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain flows, process automations, validation rules, custom objects, fields, and page layouts.

  • Oversee data quality and integrity, including deduplication, import/export, and data governance practices.

  • Plan and manage Salesforce releases, sandbox environments, and change sets.

  • Manage the internal Salesforce environment, ensuring smooth operation, administration, and user management (onboarding, permissions, access controls).

  • Collaborate with the current Salesforce admin team to ensure continuity, knowledge sharing, and troubleshooting.

  • Support reporting and dashboard creation to provide actionable insights.

  • Document processes and create training materials for end-users.

  • Identify and evaluate AI tools and features applicable to Salesforce workflows, including Salesforce Einstein, Agentforce, Circuit, and third-party AI APIs.

Requirements

  • Must be authorized to work in the US without the support of sponsorship now and in the future. This role is not eligible for sponsorship.

  • 3+ years of hands-on Salesforce administration experience in a production environment.

  • Strong understanding of the Salesforce data model, security model, and declarative automation tools (Flow, Process Builder, Workflow Rules).

  • Proven experience managing data integrity, data classification, and security compliance standards.

  • Demonstrable experience with Salesforce release management, including sandboxes and change sets.

  • Technical proficiency with reporting and dashboard creation for business insights.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Strong technical aptitude with a focus on problem-solving and process optimization.

  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.

  • Experience with tools such as Power Automate, Power BI, Microsoft 365, and AI platforms.

  • Ability and willingness to learn quickly and take ownership of Salesforce administration tasks.

  • Detail-oriented mindset with a strong commitment to data accuracy and security compliance.
