"The Healthcare Growth Strategy & Data Analytics Professional" (Strategy Advancement Professional) supports the Medicaid Business Development team by advancing national opportunity pipeline development, market intelligence, research to support opportunity pursuit decision making and competitive analysis. This role is responsible for identifying and evaluating growth opportunities, maintaining key pipeline and market insights, and supporting strategic decision-making across the Growth organization. The associate works on problems of moderate scope and complexity and collaborates cross-functionally to support evolving business needs.
The Strategy Advancement & Data Analytics Professional supports the execution and advancement of data analytics capabilities within the Medicaid Growth Strategy team. This role is responsible for maintaining data infrastructure, supporting Data Parade operations, and delivering analytics that inform business development and strategic decision-making.
Key responsibilities include:
Support Data Parade operations to:

Manage intake, tracking, prioritization, and fulfillment of analytics requests

Coordinate with internal stakeholders to gather and validate data inputs
-
Ensure timely and accurate delivery of analytics to support RFP and strategic initiatives
Maintain and enhance analytics tools and dashboards to:

Develop and maintain Power BI dashboards and visualizations supporting enrollment, STARS, HEDIS, and RFP source of truth resources

Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and usability across all dashboards and reporting outputs

Support enhancements to existing tools to improve efficiency and scalability
Gather and analyze data to support business development to:

Analyze clinical, quality, financial, operational, and market data to support Medicaid RFP development and pipeline strategy

Partner with proposal teams and internal SMEs to translate data into actionable insights and supporting materials

Validate data inputs and ensure alignment with internal and external benchmarks
Maintain data resources and ensure data integrity to:

Manage centralized data repositories and national resources, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and accessibility

Identify and resolve data discrepancies and support quality assurance processes

Contribute to development of standardized templates, processes, and documentation
Collaborate cross-functionally to:

Work closely with Growth Strategy, Capture, Product, and other stakeholders to support business development activities

Support market assessment and strategic initiatives across Medicaid, Medicare, and dual-eligible programs

Contribute to continuous improvement of analytics capabilities and team processes, Travel: While this is a remote position, occasional travel to Humana's offices for training or meetings may be required.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree required, or 5+ years of equivalent professional experience in a related field.

2+ years of experience in data analytics, business intelligence, or healthcare analytics

2+ years of experience working in healthcare, preferably Medicaid managed care or government-sponsored programs

1+ year of experience with Power BI or similar data visualization tools

Experience working with structured datasets (e.g., enrollment, claims, quality metrics, or operational data)

Strong analytical, problem-solving, and data validation skills
-
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment.
Preferred Qualifications

Experience supporting Medicaid RFP development or business development analytics
-
Experience maintaining dashboards and reporting tools (e.g., Power BI)

Familiarity with Medicaid performance metrics (e.g., HEDIS, STARS, enrollment trends)
-
Experience working with centralized data repositories or "source of truth" environments

SQL or data querying experience
Benefits & conditions
The compensation range below reflects a good faith estimate of starting base pay for full time (40 hours per week) employment at the time of posting. The pay range may be higher or lower based on geographic location and individual pay will vary based on demonstrated job related skills, knowledge, experience, education, certifications, etc.
$71,100 - $97,800 per year
This job is eligible for a bonus incentive plan. This incentive opportunity is based upon company and/or individual performance.
